"Disgraceful care"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

Attending this dept is like playing Russian roulette, a few years ago I attended with chest pain on two occasions within one week.

The first week I couldn't have asked for better care.

However the second time I attended this dept I was very anxious and hysterical, I was told to shut my mouth from a staff nurse and when I asked for help for the pain a registrar shouted in my face what do you want me do, shortly after this I suffered a cardiac arrest and seizure.

I have not discussed this until now as the whole experience was traumatic.
