I attended Dr Jury's clinic last week and met a South African Dr for the first time. I'm sorry I cannot recall her name but felt I had to commend her for the time and care she showed my daughter and myself. Her manner was so sincere and compassionate and I did not feel rushed or that we were just a number. We attend hospital regularly and this Doctor really does standout. I was so reassured and impressed by her care that I wanted to let her know what a difference she made. Often feedback is negative but I believe credit where credit is due goes a long way to reinforce and foster good practise. Please pass on my gratitude and I wish her all the best with her impending birth and new baby.

Many thanks for taking the time to post your kind words and feedback on Patient Opinion. As you say it is just as important to learn from what our teams and staff members do well, reinforce good practice and celebrate excellence. To that end we have shared your feedback with the team and in particularly the Doctor who saw yourself and your daughter on the day of your clinic visit. Our General Manager has also taken the time to acknowledge the care and professionalism that was provided in this instance. All our staff strive to provide high standards of care and your feedback is a great example of the impact that sincerity and compassion can have in what can be stressful and challenging circumstances.
