What I liked
The reception area was clean and tidy. The receptionist was pleasent.
Past experiences lead me to say that the whole place is very clean and tidy, with very supportive and kind staff.
What could be improved
waiting times. I visited there on Saturday with a suspected broken hand/finger and I was told that I would not be seen for at least 2 hours and the Xray department is not open at weekends. There was no point in me staying so I am having to go back on Monday.
Anything else?
Past experiences of the walk in centre are mixed. I had a fractured elbow which was not picked up on x ray at the time, I got a call 4 days later to say that someone else had looked at my xrays and that I did infact have a fracture.
A very good experience that I did have was when my son had a bad accident, the nurses couldn't do enough and called an ambulance for my son to go to canterbury; which turned up very late, so late in fact that the department should have closed, but the nurse waited and was very apologetic for the wait.
"The reception area was clean and ..."
