What I liked

i have had 3 babies at the pah, my last son nov 08 and all went well he was 5 wks early and stayed in the neonatal unit which was fab and the staff are amazing, my other son april 07 5 wks early and we had to stay in due to him being jaundice and the staff again were brilliant and my little girl born november 05 was again 5wks early and had to stay in the neonatal unit which was so wonderful i felt she was in safe hands and i was fully informed of her progress all the way. im due to have a baby in a few weeks and will back in the pah and im relaxed and confident about having yet another baby there as i know both myself and my child will be in the best care possible.

What could be improved

unfortunately when my girl was born nov 2005 i did have one rude midwife who thought i was not in labour and treated me like i was a pain in the bum and as they were just about to wheel me out of my labour room to pop me on a ward as they were sure i wasnt having the contractions i said i was having, my little girl decided to arrive. and while pushing the midwife just kept telling me to be quiet..which made me feel terrible as i was scared. i suggest to any mum to be, be strong and clear when talking to midwifes and if not happy ask for another one as ive seen many and this one off was just a rotten apple in a bunch of some truely lovely midwifes.

Anything else?

i agree with many others that the parking spaces are far too narrow, even before my bump i struggled getting out of my car and im of average slim build.
