What I liked
I was an In-Patient in the Osborne Spinal Injuries Unit. The staff, both Medical and Ancilliary, were exemplary in the care, duties and treatment. This Unit is, if not the finest Spinal Injuries Unit in the Country, then certainly one of them. I speak from experience having been an In-Patient in several of the others.
What could be improved
If I was to have a criticism of the Unit, it would have to do with funding - The Staff work miracles on a shoestring budget - a factor that cannot be sustained. I would be very upset if their fantastic abilities were lost for the want of resources. An old adage is - The ship was lost for a happorth of tar. Don't let that be the case for the Osborne Spinal Injuries Unit.
Anything else?
My grateful and heartfelt thanks to ALL of the Staff of the Osborne Unit. A true diamond on a beach of shingle.
