I had pneumonia last year which I think was from living in a cold room on my ward which affected my collapsed lung. I was not able to see a doctor regarding my breathing problems. The ward I was staying on was dirty, hygiene was poor, I think staff had their favourites. I hate the place and made 2 complaints, senior management came to see me but no improvements were made to my care or treatment.

We are really sorry to hear about your experience, our wards are, in the main, newly built and we work hard to make sure that they are clean and warm however as with any building there are occasionally problems with heating or cooling dependent on the time of year.

All wards have a medical team attached too so access to a Doctor should be straightforward especially if you are having problems such as those that you described.
