This story has been posted by Healthwatch Tameside on behalf of a member of the public. We do not have their details - they wish to remain anonymous. They said…

1) I was admitted to hospital in January. I had to wait 8 hours in A & E for a bed. The next day I was told at 8. 30am I could go home. I had to wait 6 hours for my discharge medication.

2) I had a scan in February. I had to wait 8 weeks for the scan report.

3) I turned up for another scan appointment but no-one was expecting to see me.
