Today I was lucky enough to be cared for by an excellent nurse at Dewsbury Hospital. The nurse (RS) was over for the day from the Endocrine Service in Pinderfields, I had never met her before.
I found her to be a knowledgeable skilled practitioner, with great interpersonal skills.
She gave clear advice, instructions and had great pride in what she did. I admire her knowledge of complex endocrine conditions and how she explained what might happen to me. She is also a great advocate for her patients.
I would be grateful if you could make sure this feedback reaches her (for her portfolio) and pass on my grateful thanks.
Nurses like this lady make me even more proud of the NHS and lucky that I received today such excellent care.
