"Second Stage Screening appointment"

The Centre was well signposted.

The service was excellent from the moment I arrived. The Breast Care Nurse explained what had been found at my routine scan and also the procedure of a further mammogram, ultra sound and possible biopsy. All the way through the process, everything was explained fully and I was shown the xrays by the Consultant radiographer. Also all staff introduced themselves.My partner was also included. I had a good outcome but I would like to reassure others that you will be given the most caring treatment and I would encourage them to maybe phone the Breast Care Nurse in advance of the appointment. Their phone number is in the letter that is sent. I did not do this but in hindsight I wish that I had, as they are very reassuring. Thank you to all the staff that work at the Centre.
