Well for the last 8 days Iv been a NHS patient at the Royal Oldham Hospital and hopefully I'm being evicted today fingers crossed ....
Starting with the paramedics that brought me in, the team in resus, the consultant, doctors, sisters, nurses, healthcare support workers even down to the cleaners I have nothing but admiration and a huge respect for them all, I am in total awe at all of their dedication in their chosen role. .
I met a lady on the ward I was on, she had a reaction to her chemotherapy where her infection levels were raised so she had to be kept in ...we got talking my god she too is an inspiration words for once actually failed me, which is just not like me as those who know me, outcome of this is unfortunately she's stuck with me now ...??
Iv been humbled by the going ons over the last week.
So a huge thank you to the NHS
These guys are worth their weight in gold let's not ever forget that if it wasn't for these people there wouldn't be stories to tell like this one. Next time you go to a hospital whether a patient or visiting just take a step back look around and realise just how hard all these people work with little or no recognition whatsoever.....
"Huge thank you to the NHS"
