What I liked
The interaction of the staff with my father. They treated him efficiently but with kindliness and showed interest in him as a person not just as a patient. They treated an elderly and rather confused man with dignity.
The interaction of the staff with the family. Considerate and diplomatic.
His wards were clean and bright.
Chaplain was delightful.
All were caring
What could be improved
Very nasty washing handed to my elderly partially sighted mother, thank goodness my sister was there! His nails needed cutting but apparently there was a problem with this.
These were minor negatives in an overwhelmingly positive experience.
Anything else?
Flexibility of staff allowing me to visit at out of official visiting times. ( I live in Essex and wanted to see him on the way home.)
Communication with staff was excellent.
My mother wanted to write a note of appreciation but finds difficulty seeing to write so I promised her I would inform you of her gratitude.
