About: Southmead Hospital / Neurosurgery

Saw a specialist in NeuroSurgery/Neurology a few months ago, absolutely waste of time and ever again.1 minute the specialist lost my notes made me wait, then they made judgements about my current health and weight, and refused the operation which I was told would stop me becoming more disabled then I am now. So they are enhancing my disability by refusing the operation, by giving excuses, which were totally unacceptable

While I cannot comment on your personal situation, patient safety is always our top priority and surgery will only be offered if it is appropriate and safe to perform.
