"Lack of information"

About: St Helens Hospital

Arrived at the reception12 noon and was then taken to the sanderson suite where I was given a gown to wear. Then iwas given tests and answered all questions the surgeon then saw me had a word and was told I would be seen to shortly;after an hour I asked a nurse how long would I be and was told I was the last to be seen so at 4.00 pm I had the operation.Had I known or been informed of this beforehand I would not have stayed .Where would you be expected to wait for four hours before an operation and not being informed of this very poor reception staff.Just a word on the nursing staff who were first class couldn't fault them but do you need ten on a small ward
