"The nurses were second to none."

About: North Devon District Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The nurses were second to none.

What could be improved

The food. Most of it was inedible. No-one should be served up uncooked potatoes and vegatables, dry hard rice, black chicken, I could go on but it would take up too much space.

Because it was a bank holiday the staff were offered only potatoes or chips for lunch at the Raleigh Galley, this is disgusting. Apparently the kitchen wasn't fully staffed.

Anything else?

The shortage of staff. Nurses had to be bought in from Derriford to cover shifts as it was a Bank Holiday! Why, when millions are being spent to re-vamp the main concourse and outpatients, is there a problem with staffing levels?
