What I liked

My daughter who has special needs was treated in the day surgical unit for extraction of teeth under general anaesthetic. She was terrified and I was dreading the whole procedure The nurses and doctors were absolutely wonderful, caring, patient and kind and made such efforts to calm my daughter and make it less frightening for her. They even gave me a cuddle when I got upset. I came home feeling relaxed and happy that the treatment was over andhad been much less traumatic for my child than I thought it was going to be.

Thank you to all the nurses and staff on the ward and in the operating theatre, you are what's great about the nhs.
