"bad experience.still keeps me away of having..."

About: St Peter's Hospital / Maternity

Had really unpleasant and traumatic experience with my 1st baby there on March 13'.Still think the nurse on triage that morning just wanted not to be bothered and sent us back home knowing that we live miles away and i was screaming in pain and was in great distress having full blow contractions. The nurse's attitude still makes no sense to me.

We are really sorry to hear that you had a poor experience three years ago and the Head of Midwifery - Jane Urben - was very concerned to see your message. She would very much like to discuss this further and go through your maternity care with you, so that we can learn from your poor experience and address this with the staff involved. We also have a specialist team of midwives who run our 'birth reflections' service, and this may be a really helpful way of your talking through your experiences.
