"Scan"

No introduction during 12 week scan. More a panicked rush job they could reach their dinner on time without being behind schedule. The ultrasonagrapher referred to our unborn baby as a 'trouble maker' when he/she would not move to a suitable position for measuring. Feedback passed on to a Team Leader at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire (UHNS) who stated all staff use this term and that it's just what they do. Recommended i issue a formal complaint rather than taking on board a simple suggestion to change this riduculous tradition. Offered no re-assurance when my fiancé asked if it was normal for our baby to be in this position. Thank you UHNS for giving me a heads up to be ready for any rudeness in future appointments so that i can put whoever it is straight before leaving the room.
