"Don't try phoning!"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital

Had a wisdom tooth part removed 5 weeks ago, for the last 5 weeks I have been in constant pain. Tried to contact the dept at Canterbury and they just hang up! Had to go back to my dentist, who kindly has supplied me with antibiotics to try and keep the infection down. This dept is impossible to contact after sugery, and it took a further referral from my dentist, which all takes an inordinate amount of time and serious pain and discomfort. Seriously consider having *not* having this removal done.

I am very sorry to learn that you have been in so much pain.

While it is no excuse, there have been some problems with the telephone system which makes it appear that staff are hanging up - it is certainly not our intention that this should happen; please accept our sincere apologies.

I hope that the problem is sorted out very soon for you.
