I was recently admitted to a&e with pneumonia. From the time i booked in i was triaged, x-rayed and had blood tests within 40 mins. Was called to cubicles and started on IV antibiotics. Treatment continued in a&e overnight, resulting in my being able to go home in the afternoon to complete my treatment at home. This was 5 star nhs at it's best.
