I had a total knee replacement of left knee in July 2016. Surgery was carried out by a surgeon and anesthesia was by spinal administration which was brilliant however did not record anethnatists name. This anaesthetist was very experienced. One if the best I was told. The bedside manner of both surgeon and anaesthetist was first class and they visited me frequently in my short stay after op. The after op care was also top notch from all the ward medical and nursing staff, including the physios who made therapy a light hearted but efficient experience.
I am due a right knee replacement as well and can only hope I have the same team deal with it. I went for a follow up appointment today 14 Oct 2016 at 10.00 am and all is well for 1st op progress. NHS rocks. Well done all.
