"First visit to consultant"

About: Southampton General Hospital

I had an appointment to see a GI consultant yesterday.

A lovely person, who had not just seen and read my medical notes but knew what diagnostics I needed, had a senior nurse ready with the equipment and after tests stated what they would do to improve my condition.

They were both lovely, but also the three people who gave us directions, and the staff in the coffee shop nearby, and the car park attendant.

At my previous hospital no one would speak to you and there would be a fog of dreaded smokers, blocking the entrance to the hospital.

Well done folks and thank you

May I suggest a floor plan on the back of letters to find the department you need please.
