About: University Hospital Lewisham / Accident and emergency

Admitted as an emergency with severe

DKA. I do not remember much of it as I was in a coma and on life support for over a week.

My family told me how my treatment was second to none .

Due to the doctors and nurses professionalism and care I made an uncomplicated recovery.

Thank you A & E and ICU for saving my life. The NHS is the best in the World and I will never forget what they did for me!
