Got a cab (12 pounds) from work to this, my nearest minor injuries unit. Hobbled around a labyrinthine series of passages before eventually arriving at the MIU, only to be told by the receptionist that they had stopped taking patients despite last intake being advertised here as 3.30. The only explanation offered is that "a few very sick people" attended that day. Where they A and E patients? Why doesn't this site explains that it's worth calling ahead, opening times a guide only? In any case I am now in a cab to UCLH A & E at greater personal expense and further delaying any treatment. No apology was offered by the receptionist.
"Probably closed, even an hour before its due to"
