My 2 elderly relations are a disable badge holders; consequently they both receives free parking and priority parking, this is wrong.
I can understand the priority parking, but not free parking, they are both wealthy pensioners so they should buy like any other patient, especially when you see other less wealthy elderly non badge holders having to pay.
Disable people should pay the parking fees, as many of them are quite well off, especially the elderly patients.
Even my elderly relations admit the system is wrong, but are quite happy to use the non parking fee, with a final comment, " being a elderly disable person does have it advantages at St Peters, although we do feel guilty when we see other pensioners struggling to pay the fees".
