"Operation waiting"

My daughter was told to go to b2 between 9 and 10 in the morning nil by mouth to have an operation on a absces on her lower back a 20 minute op.....she was given a bed and told she wouldn't be long....she was still waiting at 11 o clock at night nothing to eat all day and she's a diabetic, every time she asked about it she was fobbed of....in the end she said she was signing herself out as she has had enough of waiting and she didn't feel well due to having low blood sugar and in need of something to eat....when she said she was signing herself out they decided to do the operation, this hospital is rubbish, leaving a diabetic all day with nothing to eat, it could of been life threatening....awful
