"My experience shows the NHS at its best"

I recently had an outpatient appointment at the breast clinic. I was advised in my appointment letter that I could be there for three to four hours and I was but I didn't mind at all. The explanation of the process and flow of the appointment included a large poster on the waiting room wall. Knowing what to expect and how long it would take made all the difference. I came prepared with a book and there were loads of magazines. The staff were happy for me to pop out to get a coffee and everyone apologised for my wait. The fact that I had a result after four hours and that I was given the appointment within two weeks is brilliant. My experience shows the NHS at it's best! Thank you to the staff at the breast clinic.
