"All but one member of staff has been absymal"

Bear in mind this is a service for people who are distressed. I've been treated with abject contempt by all the clinical staff other than one who is a phd in psychology. The nurses seem to positively hate patients: in the waiting room I've watches patients who need blood tests waiting well past their appointment time only to be told to come back 5 hours later. No apology, no reason. One patient was spoken about in front of him by several members of staff on several occasions and very nearly shouted at a number of times "Why have you come in, your appointment is not today." The patient told everyone, every time that he had a special appointment because he was going on holiday. The patient was utterly, totally compliant. Practically subservient. After 30 mins when the person I had an appointment with finally bothered to show up, the debate was still going on. I've had a number of appointments just not happen - patients are blamed for that, of course - and the person at the end of the psychology dept phone is rude, patronising, haughty, and immediately starts shouting when I've told them I'm repeating information that I've told them 3 times. Nothing is ever done about the attitude of the staff.

If I could give zero or minus stars it would be more indicative of my experience. Happily, the reception staff are human. How they manage it is testament to their professionalism. This place needs a kick up the backside.
