"Booking error"

I rung to change my sons appointment and the member of staff did not change it on the system. We turned up at 10.30am to be told his appointment was 11.30am and there was a 30-60 min delay. This booking error meant I had to take a days annual leave when it should have only taken a few hours if that.

What is wrong with the booking office?

Thank you for taking the time to feed back on your recent experience. We were disappointed to learn that you updated your son’s clinic appointment with hospital staff but this was not changed on the system, resulting in an extended wait in clinic for you on the day.
