"Eye clinic"

I accompanied my elderly husband, who is disabled, to the eye clinic for over 3 years - 2012 - 2015, after an attack of shingles left him with limited vision in his right eye. A cataract operation was then performed, which left him blind in that eye. We were not told why this happened, just a suggestion that we could attend a clinic, which we declined as he has other medical needs for us to deal with.

Hello,

Thank you for your posting. I am sorry that your husband has lost vision in one eye. In order to obtain an explanation for the outcome of your husband's operation, it would be best to contact colleagues at Wexham Park Hospital. PALSWexhamPark@fhft.nhs.uk Alternatively, you could contact your local Healthwatch organization for assistance. Contact details can be found on our website. www.berkshirehealthcare.nhs.uk

Yours Sincerely,
