About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

(as the patient),

What I liked

I came to A & E at about 02.00 Monday 26/04/10. Through my own fault I had ripped off my Talley dressing by catching the suction tube under my bedroom door. I just want to say a big thank you to the male nurse who attended to me. It was the first time he had done a Talley dressing as FPH uses VAC therapy, but he listened to my instruction as to how to redress it, treated me with respect and redressed my wound 1st time perfectly. Its now Wednesday and the Talley machine hasn't alarmed once. He just did a great job and nailed it, it's not an easy dressing to apply and get air tight 1st time, he was just very professional and naturally good at what he did. I felt in safe hands, so please pass on my thanks to this nurse for a great job well done. I wish he did my dressing every time, usually it only lasts a day before something fails, I don't want the district nurse to take it off, but I hope she learns something from how your nurse did it!!

What could be improved

The A & E waiting area looked a bit sad, but I suppose there not very nice areas, maybe it needed a few more magazines, but I was booked in efficiently, all that side worked well
