My first appointment at Cirencester was July 2016 .I was attending for consultation about a knee operation I was referred to this hospital by my G.P.I had never been there before .I was pleasantly surprised by the calm atmosphere ,the kindness and friendliness of all ,the staff I was in contact with ..After seeing the consultant I had pre op.assessment which was all dealt with swiftly and informatively. .By the time an operation date was made the hospital that was doing the actual op called me and told me the pre op assessment was out of date and the operation could not be performed unless I drove 40 miles to Bristol where the operation is to take place have bloodtests etc return home and then drive down to Bristol again 2 days later for the op.I rang around to try to get someone nearer to help with blood tests ,urine sample etc.and fax results through to the hospital eventually called Cirencester .Wish i had thought of them sooner as that was where I had the original pre op assessment. At Cirencester they were as helpful as they could be from reception to nurses and all other staff.
