"Poor service"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Maternity

I am admitted in the hospital for my unborn baby's less movements. I was well looked after from the time I am here but very dissatisfied with the night time midwife staff which gossips all night very loud and carry on loud laughing which is very uncomfortable for a patient who needs rest. Actions proves everything , their words don't do justice to the service provided. I am very happy with the care and assessment provided to me by GAU ( Gynaecological Assissment Unit ) the two nurses are very wonder nurses " much appreciated their services. But few of the staff from the night shift on Sunday night needs help.

Dear Reviewer,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback.

We are really disappointed to hear that you were dissatisfied with the evening staff during your hospital stay. This is unacceptable particularly late at night when people are trying to sleep/rest. We would like to look into your concerns in more detail, so if you are happy to do so, please email: communications@uhl-tr.nhs.uk with your name, address, date of birth and hospital number and we will pass this onto a member of the team to investigate further.

We are glad to hear that you were happy with the care provided in GAU - this will be passed on to the team involved.

Thank you for your feedback - it is important to us and helps us improve our service.

Kind regards
