I have attended the A&E at Norfolk and Norwich university foundation Trust Hospital last weekend with severe back pain. The receptionist at the A&E was friendly, kind and sympathetic. Less than ten minutes of my attendance to A&E, I was called to the triage room and was assessed by a kind and caring young nurse. I then was moved to the "major incident" section of the A&E. Then, I was taken to a cubical by nurse Laura. Shortly after, Nurse Julie joined Laura and between them they checked my vital signs, took some bloods and tried to made me comfortable. Their kind, caring nature and professional skills helped to maintain my physical and psychological wellbeing while I was suffering from unbearable back pain. while I was there, I was treated by two of the doctors in A&E and they were both extremely thorough and treated with me kindness. When people become patients, and in helpless situations like I was, kind, caring attitude of the nurses and doctors make all the difference to those patient's lives.
I can not thank you enough for all the staff who have treated me and done their very best to make me comfortable in A&E. So Thank you very much from all my heart, and I will never forget the care and compassion that you have shown me during my A&E admission on last Saturday.
