"Staff were very friendly to my dad"

About: Westmorland General Hospital / Langdale Unit

(as a relative),

My dad had a stroke and was admitted to the Langdale unit at Westmorland General Hospital. He said he found there to be very friendly and helpful staff. The patient (dad) said food was good and the staff very professional at all times but he felt they were often very busy and maybe more staff were needed. He thought the physio treatment was very good and the ward clean and tidy.

Thank you for your posting. I am very grateful to you for taking the time to feed back your Dad's experience.

I am very pleased to read that your Dad found the staff to be very professional, friendly and helpful. We do take pride in trying to provide the highest standard of service and so your kind comments about the food, the Physio's and the cleanliness are very reassuring.

I take on board your point about staffing levels and I will feed this back. Balancing the resources we have to help us provide the best possible service is something we regularly review.

I will take great pleasure in feeding back your comments to all members of the team who I know will be very grateful to you!

Thank you again for your supportive feedback.

Best wishes,

Graeme
