"Immediate diagnosis and referral for regional..."

About: Weston General Hospital / Accident and emergency

One week from admission to appointment for surgery at regional specialist unit. Hospital knew what needed, explained it all very well, knew what X-rays and scans were needed, when MDT was to take place checkedI was discussed and all info had got through. All staff friendly informative, porters, clerical cleaners, nurses, students. Treated with respect at all times. Food and drink good, everywhere clean.

only observation AWP mental health services clearly not responding well enough to urgent care and admissions, this has been going on for years now and despite recent critical CQC report have still not improved or tried to improve

Many thanks for your comments and we're very pleased to hear that you were happy with the treatment you received whilst with us. we will of course pass on your comments to the relevant medical and support staff.

Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP, although based in buildings at Weston Hospital, is a completely separate organisation from Weston Area Health NHS Trust, and so we are unable to comment on their services I'm afraid.

If you would like to leave feedback for them separately, you can do so here - http://www.nhs.uk/Services/Trusts/Overview/DefaultView.aspx?id=2309
