I have been struggling with severe mental health issues for many years - and I've tried all kinds of treatment. When my doctor recently referred me to Whiteleaf, I was extremely hopeful. How wrong I was. After spending 1.5 hours with a perfectly pleasant nurse whilst I related my entire history, I began to detect that the questions were coming from a script. That's ok, but what that means is that if questions are given weightings, then you become to be judged by a score rather than the context of the conversation. My issues are complex, and my quest for help is becoming more desperate - so, to be phoned 3 days later and told that I was being discharged and that I should speak to my doctor again about SSRI pills is completely disgraceful. Essentially, 30 years of life limiting issues were judged in 90 minutes by somebody I've never met before, and I was fobbed off. So, once again, I am going to start again. This is about targets, not helping people.
