I was admitted first to Ward L24 then transferred to L17 when my condition improved. At all times from the bottom to the top of the pecking order of staff, regardless of them being medical, clerical, catering or housekeeping, I was treated with dignity, respect, kindness & a friendly cheery can-do attitude which is infectious! The only infection you want to catch in hospital but the best! Nothing was too much trouble for anyone involved in my care & treatment. This must have been a contributory factor in my making improvements as quickly as I did. I cannot thank you all enough. You might think 'I was just doing my job' but it's how you go about it that makes the world of difference to those of us suddenly reliant on you.
