My 5 year old son has been suffering from severe nose bleeds and at his last Appointment at ENT for kids he was told at the next appointment they would decide what course of action to take. That was back in February and since then his appointment with Dr Ram has been rescheduled. I phoned to ask why and was told the clinics keep getting cancelled. I find this completely unacceptable and unprofessional

I am so sorry that there has been unacceptable delays in your son's follow up appointment.

Unfortunately clinics do sometimes need to be cancelled and rescheduled but this seems like an excessive amount of time to have to wait.

have spoken to our Unit Operational Manager and she is keen to get to the bottom of this. Could you please contact Debbie Dawson our Support Manager by email at debbiedawson@nhs.net and she will investigate what has happened in this case and try to resolve this for you.
