"My life has changed completely"

After a nightmare mis diagnosis from my GP surgery and nearly a year of being very very ill, in desperation I threatened the surgery with lack if care, surprisingly I was sent as an emergency to see a consultant at RUH.

Once I was seen by Mr Walker in the gastroenteritis dept I was treated with care and kindness and he listened to me. He could see how ill I was and straight away he arranged for lots of tests, scans and endoscopy. He also arranged an appt with a dietician once my problem was known. Within 4 weeks I was diagnosed with a pancreas problem and given the right treatment. My life has changed completely in the last year and I am now feeling loads better. I will be on medication for the rest of my life. I was let down by my own GP surgery but cannot praise the RUH and Mr Walker for the care given to me and continues to provide me with.
