I have a mental illness. My treatment is based at Avenue House, West London Mental Health NHS Trust. I've known my current psychiatrist since January 2015. I'm happy with my treatment. I'm always seen at the given time I. e. I've never had to wait in reception for long waiting to be seen. This promptness lowers my anxiety. My psychiatrist listens to me and respects my opinion. He advises me on the management of my mental illness. His advice helps to make my life easier. We get along well. Patients manage their mental illness better when they and their psychiatrist get along.
