"After more than 3 years of chronic nerve pain"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Where to start. After more than 3 years of chronic lumbar and leg pain requiring ever increasing dosages of opiate pain medication as well as facet joint injections finally the pain management department has effectively given me my life back. Scheduled for denervation on the 4th October I was after 24 hours of having the procedure 80% pain free. Now the day I am 90% pain free when exercising. I can now walk totally pain free and the upside is I havent needed Tramadol at all. What can I say the doctors and staff from the start have been faultless, the procedure not exactly a walk in the park but more than tolerable and the benefit extraordinary.

A huge thank you to all in this department from a hugely satisfied and delighted patient who now has his life back thanks to these wonderful people.Barry
