Recently had to bring my son to 2 fracture appointments and came away from both having been given very little advice on how best to manage his fractured leg, We waited over 2 hours on both occasions and the actual consultation time was ridiculously short. I spent a couple of hours on the internet researching how to manage his pain and mobilisation. I was left not knowing what we should expect after his plaster was taken off after 2 months and whether his levels of pain and mobility were normal. Eventually had to turn to a family friend to get proper advice
"Very little time, poor communication. Poor signage"
