"Disgraceful Service"

About: Basildon University Hospital

My daughter was refered for 2 appoinments to the hospital. Both appointments were made online, we received a confirmation for one but not the other. When we called we were informed that there was no appointemnt on the system as it had been cancelled. We then had to complain vigorously to get a new date. The second appointment for Cardiology was today and this was a farce. My daughter went to paedeatrics and met a consultant who 1. Did not know why she was there and 2. was a consultant in gaestrointestinal complaints.

So nothing has been done since the referal in June. Is this anyway to treat a child patient. Shame on such a pathetic service. We have now had to make another appointment for who knows when and probably for the wrong department again. To top it all you pay for the privilege for wasting your time with the car park fee.
