My appointment was an hour late without any communication from staff. When I did see a Dr

I had to tell them information multiple times as they simply did not listen, the information i was giving him was also written on a questionnaire in front of them yet still i had to tell them 3 times and they only listened when an HCA told them for a 4th time. My opinion wasn't included in decisions about further treatment. I left the appointment in tears. It took 4 months to get the referral from my GP and what a waste of time, as I still have no management for my condition.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with your recent experience whilst visiting our gynaecology outpatient clinic. We will certainly discuss your feedback with all staff involved.

Patients can be waiting longer to be seen, dependant on the numbers of people and their reason for attending.

We endeavour to see all patients as quickly as possible and keep the notice board up to date with the current waiting times for running clinics.

Unfortunately we are not always able to make verbal announcements but do try to, wherever possible.

It is most unsatisfactory that you have left our department distressed and that your expressed opinions were not listened to. We endeavour to ensure all our patients' voices are heard and that they are fully informed of all the available options, so they may make an informed choice about their care.

Please could I ask that you contact our Department Manager on 01204 390486 to discuss your concerns and clarify your plan of care.
