"Meniscus tear and micro fracture surgery knee"

About: Circle Bath

Originally I went in for a meniscus tear, expecting to be up and about and back to work within two weeks. However, when I came round the surgeon came to see me to say there was a lot more damage than thought. This has resulted in 8 weeks off work, and three weeks non weight bearing. It's fair to say it was a shock and once I got the pain under control it's become bearable. The he staff again were fantastic, gave me a Zimmer frame rather than crutches as I had only had a shoulder op four weeks before hand and didn't want to hamper that recovery.

All in all, everything was explained and they are polite and can't do enough to help
