About: University Hospital Hairmyres

(as the patient),

Had to a attend for an ECG at Hairmyres Hospital after my GP had concerns about my heart during an examination that morning.

Went straight to Hairmyres and 35 minutes after arriving I was back in my car with a letter to GP saying that everything was OK.

Now that is service!

No prolonged worrying about possible heart issues, the staff were pleasant and professional and my GP was being thorough and not taking any chances with my health.

Our NHS is the most under-appreciated service in the world, go to the USA and you'll see how much it is doing for us all.
