"A&E children"

About: Lister Hospital / Accident and emergency

I wouldn't recommend to anyone to take their babies there.

I went there at 7pm waited to see the nurse for 15mins. I explained them the situation ( head injury and vomiting) and they said to have a seat to b seen again. 1h30min later the praactioner nurse call me in and I explain them the situation again and they are telling me "no one mention about vomiting" . I'm sitting there with a sick baby who is very agitated at this time as well 9.30pm. I told them my baby hasn't eaten anything because I was rushing her and they said they will see what they can do and told me to wait outside and they never gt back to me and they seen me waiting otherwise I would have said yo my husband to get something.

So I waited to see the doctor and the doctor didn't offer me seat and was talking to them standing up and they didn't even check her head. . What kind of service is that!? Last time I'm ever going to this hospital!

We're really sorry that you have been left disappointed following your recent visit to the Lister's children's A&E.

We would be more than happy to get your concerns followed up for you, but to do that we would need you to email us your details (and those of your baby) to generalenquiries.enh-tr@nhs.net.

It sounds like you need answers to your questions, so we do hope that you'll get in touch.
