"Don't have much to do in here, left to your own..."

About: Miranda House

Was in here last year for a week and most of the time was bored out of my head. There is very little to do and very little interaction between patients and staff. In fact I felt more supported and understood by the other patients. Now a lot of the staff I met do seem to be genuinely caring and take their jobs seriously but I think they are so busy. One staff member in particular I have no idea what they are doing in mental health. They're arrogant, rude, patronising and does little other than walking around. I've better qualifications than them (I've a masters degree) yet they are a basic healthcare worker yet acts like they're a top psychiatrist, totally condescending. Avoid them at all costs.
