"The staff were familiar with our Mums situation and were very professional"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire

(as a relative),

Our Mum was at home recieving end of life care by family and she/we had lots of support from NHS staff. At Bothwell Medical centre we gained lots of support. From the warm receptionists to the individual doctors who responded to our concerns - they were fantastic. The GP's were compassionate and understanding of our Mum's needs and visited very soon after we contacted them - giving her the medication and care she needed to help deal with her symptoms. The staff at Viewparks chemist in Burnhead Street were also great - the staff were familiar with our Mums situation and were very professional, interested and warm in their approach to us as a family. Thank you all so much for your understanding, patience and warmth at this very difficult time.

Dear Rhys

Thank you for getting in touch at what must be a very difficulat time for you and your family. It is nice to get positive feedback around services provided to patients. I will pass your kind words onto the Practice Manager at the Bothwell Medical Centre and also the Pharmacy in Burnhead Street Viewpark to allow them to share your thanks with all the staff.

Kind regards

Kathryn
