"I feel very lucky to live within the catchment area of East Surrey Hospital"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I recently had a Cataract operation at ESH and would like to thank the Ophthalmology team who looked after me and performed the Operation which has been a complete success.

All the Staff gave the highest level of care and support, The operation was carried out under local Anesthetic. This took about 25 minutes and was completely painless, after a rest with a cup of Tea and biscuits I left the Hospital and returned home.

Since then I have experienced no pain at all and my vision is very good, I am looking forward to having my other eye done perhaps in about 18 month’s time.

I feel very lucky to live within the catchment area of East Surrey Hospital.
